Mission details

Greece-Recreation/Refugees (Jason Smith)

You’ll get to spend time in the remarkable ancient city of Athens - serving in one of its most unique central districts, Kypseli (which means bee hive in Greek). Kypseli is statistically “the most densely populated urban district in Europe.” It is host to 100 nationalities across 8 square miles, and home to thousands of refugees and migrants. We will serve some of the most broken people groups on the planet as they journey from various nations towards Europe to escape persecution, economic depravity and the ravages of war. Athens is Europe’s eastern gateway - making it an extraordinary place to serve the people of the world.
