Big Stone Gap, VA - Sports Camp
Be a part of an ISF domestic trip in beautiful Big Stone Gap, Virginia, located in the Appalachian Mountains. For the fourth year, we are partnering with HOPE (Helping Oppressed People Everywhere), and we expect it to be the best year yet. We're looking for experienced coaches, athletes, and high-energy volunteers. In previous years, sports have included: basketball, track and field, football, soccer, archery, volleyball, pickleball, and karate. In 2023 we added an art station and gave campers the option to participate in a drama. If you love sports and working with middle school kids, this trip is for you.Ground Cost Includes

What to Expect
Our team will bond through time spent together during the day at camp and in the various host homes where we will stay. In the evenings we will enjoy catered dinners at the local church. We will visit the local ice cream shop and explore the town. More importantly, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with the many middle school students you will encounter during the week. Camp is 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Thursday, there will be a Gospel presentation where, in the past, many campers have accepted Christ as their Savior. Be prepared to have a life changing experience.Gallery
